Hello, my name is Billy Ocasio and I am the Alderman of Chicago’s greatest ward, the 26th Ward. Welcome to the exciting (re)launch of my website: www.billyocasio.com.
Our revamped website significantly expands the content and interactivity of the original site. What you have before you is the labor of much discussion among our staff and constituents like yourself about the type of website our Ward needs and deserves. We have added several new sections, each loaded with information and helpful features.
Some of our new sections include, “Community Works,” which features several of my ongoing projects and community work. For example, learn about Paseo Boricua and the Fannie Mae “American Dream” selection. “City-Services,” is another important section. In this section, you can learn how Chicago City government works, in addition to, how to access city services and support. Other sections I would like to highlight are “Our Office” and “Meet Billy,” which I invite you to look through to become more familiar with my staff and my aldermanic work.
Our new website, we hope provides you, the constituent, with a valuable and greatly needed source of information and communication. I encourage you to take total advantage of our site, either just to stay informed on Ward issues or to access City and community services and resources.
During my tenure as Alderman of the 26th Ward, we have experienced the success of working to better our homes, streets, blocks and community. While we have undoubtedly much work to do together, I am certain we will continue to see positive change.
